Transcription of streaming webcast...the video's not very watchable, and the audio is muddy and monaural, given low encoding bitrate (24kbps for the music). Still, way better than nothing.
Needless to say, the transcription of this one was particularly difficult. Hopefully, I can get my hands on a higher quality version at some point in the future.

Atmosphere
BS: "And...we're gonna start off with a Joy Division song. It's called Atmosphere"

The synth has a interesting shimmering effect. Annoyingly, Bernard whoops a couple of times, although this was more pronounced at the Shoreline performance (31 Jul 01) than here.
Song finishes...
BS: (Whoop!) Thank you. Thank you. Great to be back in Japan after all this time. Jerry, can't hear the top of the kit too well, and can you turn the gate up on my earphones."
The webcast differs from the setlist in that Slow Jam doesn't appear here but later on, after KW1.
Crystal
BS: "All right, from the very old to very new, here's our latest single, called Crystal."
They play the 6+ minute extended version rather than the more abbreviated version played at the West Coast gigs.
BS: "Thank you, thanks a lot."
Regret
BS: "That was all right, wasn't it. It wasn't shit, anyway? And, er, from very old to very new, to just a little bit old, this song's called Regret.
BS: "Make...[can't understand this part]...the quick."
The end of this song gets flubbed somewhat.
BS: "Eh, hank you. Come to think of it, that's not a bad song either."
Love Vigilantes
Bernard on melodica.
BS: "Okay, we right, we right, yeah..."
PH: "You all set, Billy..."
BS: "Billy-o!"
PH: "He's nervous tonight, he's not played in front of big crowds often, so you have to forgive him."
BS: "Okay, let's go"
Song ends with bass feedback, as Bernard 10q's.
Isolation
BS: "Okay, this is a Joy Division song, it's called Isolation"
The song is performed.

BS: "Ok ok, having a good time? We're having a fucking great time here in Japan, it's a great country. Who said that flattery will get you nowhere? Me."
Hooky says something off-mic.

BS: "Okay, this is your Silent Face, get the DJ to turn the fucking music down over there, you twat."
Bernard busts out with the melodica! I personally welcome the return of this song to their live set.
And it looks like somebody turns down the vocals on Barney when he says "piss". (part of the 'Why don't you piss off?' lyric). The audience recording is of course unimpeded.
Slow Jam
BS: "All right, we're gonna play a song...okay, this is a song off our new album called Slow Jam."
Nice feedback at the end.
BS: "Thank you!"
Turn My Way
BS: "Okay, this song..next song features Billy. This song features Billy on vocals, and is off our new album, called, eh... what's the new album called, Hooky?"
PH: "Get Ready..heh heh."
BC: "Get Ready..yeah"

BS: "Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa...I'm wrong again, I'm wrong again... uh...fuckin' hell. ...it takes you out here. When you get to our age..."
PH: "Fuck off..."
BS: "Alright, this is another one off our new album, but you're sick of hearing these new songs you've never heard before... one day believe you me, you will come to love them...it's called Close Range, take that fucking capo off now."
I like this one quite a bit.

Touched By The Hand Of God
BS: "Okay, the next one is called Touched By The Hand Of God...and it's about Hooky's bass guitar. There Hooky, a rare compliment, a rare compliment."
PH: "Very rare and few in between, but I fucking loved it!"

True Faith

Hooky squeaks and mutters quite a bit during this one. "C'mon, you bastards... for the Viking!" or something like that.

Temptation
BS: "I need my special guitar for this one."
BC: [can't make out what he says, think it starts with 'Let me...']
BS: "Temptation."
He starts out with a 'woo woo' along with the beat, before the opening guitar bit.
They play it. All their Temptations these days feature Barney counting "1, 2, 3, 4!!" before going into the last break.
BS: "Thank you." Guitar chords.
PH: "It's very quiet, isn't it?"
Crowd yells.
PH: "What's the matter, scousers got yer bag?"
Love Will Tear Us Apart
BS: "Eh, this song is called...ah, I can't remember(?)...it's something about love... Love...Will...Tear...Us...Apart."
They play LWTUA.
Hooky yells "Here we go!" at the 1:24 mark. He also yells out, "Turn up my mic, Andy!" at about 3:30, "Andy" again ten seconds later, and another "Here we go!" at the 3:53 mark.
BS: "Whoahhh...thank you very much, you've been a great audience. See you in sixteen years!" (He laughs when he says this)
I guess Barney had forgotten they played Japan in 1987, which was only 14 years before.
The punters start to chant for New Order...somebody strums a bass... then general clamour...and more chanting...before NO take the stage again.
Encore
Ruined In A Day
BS: "How did you know we were going to do an encore? [noodles on guitar] The lead gui-part...guitar part in this song is very, very difficult, so if we play it out of tune, please bear with me."
Actually, this is a really good version. Nice guitar work, having Corgan and Cunningham around helps.
BS: "Woo! Thank you. I cannot stop saying 'Woo', heh heh. Why do I do that?"
60 Miles An Hour
BS: "Okay, this is eh, a song called 60 Miles An Hour, off our new album called Get Ready."
Initial ascending guitar riff before the sweeping synths preface the track.
BS: "Thank you very much."
PH: "God bless you."
Blue Monday
BS: "Okay, you might recognize this one. So, I'm not going to tell you the title, so you can decide for yourself which one it is."
Huge cheers when the opening beats kick in, of course.
A couple of whoops and a whistle make their way in before the vocals start. Lots of silliness on stage here, not the least of which was Bernard's freaky dancing.
BS: "Thank you, good night, great to be back in Japan. We really enjoyed it! Thank you."
The maelstrom is Blue Monday continues for a minute more before ending in gigantic bass feedback, followed by Hooky throwing down his instrument and walking offstage.
Announcer: "You were great...we loved it.!"
Then he goes into Japanese...the only phrase I can make out is 'New Order'. Any speakers want to translate?
