Source is a third-gen audio recording from BV obtained in the late '90s.

The_Perfect_Kiss

BS: "Comms(?) a bit louder, Ed, and the punters..."

Break at 4:20.

BS: "Thank you very much indeed, thanks very much. Jacko, if it's not too much trouble, I'd like to use the semi-acoustic, please, on our next song.

Sooner_Thank_You_Think

Feedback squall.

BS: "This is a song off of Lowlife, called Sooner Than You Think."

Features a profanity, "you know what I fucking need."

Taper coughts between songs.

A Hooky five-note rifflet before the next number, Paradise.

BS: "Bass sequencer up."

(at end)

BS: "Thank you very much.

Way_Of_Life

Second performance, the first being G-MEX's.

BS: "Thank you very much. That was a new song, this is a new song as well, it's called Way Of Life. If we got a...[can't make out]..."

During the intro, Bernard emits a "Woo"...

BS: "Eddie, try it on Gillian's guitar(?)"

Sunrise follows.

Every_Little_Counts

The debut performance of this song!

Bernard mutters the first line, "Every little pig..." and follows it up with "Think you are a pig, you should be in a zoo.", earlier than the normal sequence of the song.

Echoing "woos" after the first verse.

BS: "Thank you very much, that's another new song, it's on Benny(?) and [something]...bear it and stay with us...wish I could speak Swedish.... Danish, Danish, Danish! Oh, it's a...[something] aren't you." Then he says something about cheap shots. Much of this is very difficult to make out, alas.

Blue_Monday then follows.

Lots of off-kilter clapping along here.

BS: "Thanks a lot, thank you very much indeed. BUt I could like anything." I could like...boys with big dicks."

The_Village

Bernard mutters something.

PH: "Sick beats."

BS: "You big bastard."

Edit in tape (A/B). A bit of noodling before Broken_Promise.

Bernard's vocals are low in the mix.

BS: "Thank you very much."

Age_Of_Consent

Bernard yells "Slow down!!" after singing the first line of the song, I guess Mr. Morris was really plowing his way through this.

Temptation

BS: "This song was Christ if he never got crucified".

A notable quotable if I ever heard one.

There's a cut in Temptation at about 5:00 which seems to correspond with the flip TPK cut on the A-side.

Versions

Only circulated source is the aforementioned BV ANA3, unknown taper/equipment.

There's a second recording which perspexorange has noted is "Different to the BV tape, distinctive chatter at start of STYT".

https://tdk-c90.blogspot.com/p/schillings-box-of-tapes.html does show recordings from all bands here, but not sure which this corresponds to.
